Working Hands

They serve up plenty, and wash away the pain
They become the stain of years unbroken

Strong and gentle, they create a song
They help it carry on to find you

Hold it together, and lift you to your feet
Hold your head and weep

Yes, your precious head is buried in your hands
Lifting heavy trays and working through the days

Write a pretty song, and though you are so young,
You have old hands

Thanks to all those that showed support for my run in L.A. I met and performed with some talented and special people. I almost stayed, but it turns out I am happy to be back in NYC recording, and it is all turning out sooo great!!! You are all going to freak out when you hear it!! It's real and that's all that matters to me.

Thanks to my new and wonderful producer Igor Cubrilovic for supporting my ideas and building a great environment for creativity. It is a wonderful gift to work with someone who sees where you want to go and helps you get there in the most natural way. Someone who really believes your musical ideas are worthwhile...something I've been searching for. Black and Blue Pearl should be ready in about two months so stay tuned!
