Back to the Start

Hey Boston!

The Michigan dates for the tour went really well. To find out what Chuck said about it visit this link. Chuck is my bass player/percussionist- basically sideman for acoustic shows. He is great at a lot of things, including being a good support and sport! Thanks Chuck:)

I started off this morning in Providence with a motorcyle ride to Blackstone trail in Providence where I had my morning run. The air was fresh and gave me inspiration and time to sort through my day. Natasha has been sick, so I hope she will be o.k. for the jam session tonight and expecially the show in Boston tomorrow. I am excited about seeing old friends from Berklee and sharing my new music with them! You can also check out: www.myspace.com/claralofaro for some pictures from our tour. My two favourite moments were: playing on the side of the highway, and playing for Jade's preschool class in Indiana. They sent us a thank you card! It made me happy.

This year's No Way Home Tour shows are a preview in my mind. My goals are to book an extensive tour next year teaming up with various bands in cities across America. I would like to go cross country around the States and Canada. I'd like ComeTrue Records to release a compilation CD at the conclusion of the tour including music from the highlight performances of the tour. I would like to include a show for children, elderly, charity, the sick, or people who would otherwise not get a chance to see us in every, or most of the cities we go to.

The glamour of my career is an illusion. I want to reach out and touch people one by one with honest, raw music that liberates people to feel and be who they are-good and bad, happy or sad. To respond to the hope that lives in each one of us that we are o.k. how and where we are, and someone loves us that way. Thanks to all those that are supporting and nourishing this dream to reality.

Wish us luck!

Clara Lofaro
