Holiday Newsletter from ComeTrue Records

 To My Fans and Friends,

I close the door and begin to write as I do almost every day. I stop for a second to fix the light, intimate and alone. This is best for clarity and honest words. Last year about this time and date, I was writing a very different newsletter to you entitled, The Bitter End, and it was. In the midst of a dark cluttered living space, reflective of my life.

Today, the room is peaceful as I write this. Over these 12 months, I have found a dear sister and awe-inspiring voice that has brought so much to my music. I thank you Kiri in my thoughts every day for all you teach me about grace, faith, and the allowance of all things good. I have toured and visited places in this country that I had never seen before. My fan base is at least 100 times larger, and I have a record I am proud of, with new songs filling my head every day. My label, ComeTrue Records has seen a good investor, and is supported by a solid team. We have performed for charity and children as part of our tours. It is important to me to reach out to those who are not exposed to music and life’s possibilities in the ways we are blessed with, and to bring those who suffer relief even for a little while.

I have met amazing people, business and personal on my travels, and right here in NYC. I can’t thank you all more for your support and love through this climb. It is something I was in serious need of and something I received every day from one of you. It gives me a deeper purpose for my dream. I want to succeed not only for myself, but for every person willing to stand against adversity to follow their ambition. With care, determination, practice, risk-taking, an awareness of your gifts, and shameless promotion -it is possible. It is my hope that I can one day give back or contribute to your lives in the ways you have contributed to mine.

We hope to see you at our last show this year. I have reason to believe it is going to be a good year ahead. My reason is the hope I feel inside that guides me every day and brought me to the U.S. six years ago. It is also the experience I have had this past year to show me that my dream for life and music is a realistic one and it is my responsibility to bring it!

I love you each and every one. Cherish the holiday with those you love.
