The Road Home

The road home this time of year is sometimes cold, sometimes unsteady....always thoughtful and always winding. I will be touring, with D.C., New Haven, Ithaca, and Vermont still to hit up, and then straight home to the T-dot.

Bummed I'll be missing my Nonno's (grandfather's) 80th birthday party. I"ll have to make him a cake of my own when I get back...not that he likes sweets. I think he'd rather I sit and have a shot of grappa with him. I'll probably need it too after all the driving and tripping thoughts that gather in my head towards the end of a year.

The news of the day is that I'll be playing my follow-up show to our Indie Week win in Toronto at the Drake on January 6, 2007. We will be playing with our new friends LYE (Daryl's band, organizer of Indie Week), and October Sky (kick-ass band from Montreal we are playing BIG Montreal show with in March). Good peeps, good music all around. I am really looking forward to this one!

Well Lovers, no doubt it's been a wonderfully crazy ride this year that leaves me at the top of the rollercoaster, lingering for a moment until the wild drop that is the best part of the ride...2007 get ready cuz here she comes! HA!
